GENERAL LEGAL ADVICE NO-SHOW FEE POLICY
1. The Student Legal Service is a free legal advice and referral organisation that operates with the support of local lawyers in the community, in order to ensure that the service remains free and that resources are not wasted it is important that clients turn up for their appointments.
2. From 19/07/2018 the Student Legal Service will be charging a no-show fee for General Legal Advice Appointments.

4. No-show fee details for General Legal Advice Appointments:
- A credit/debit card will now be required when booking a general advice appointment.
- Clients will be charged a AU$15 no show fee plus a processing fee if they do not attend their allocated appointment time.
- The charge will be taken 24 hours after the appointment time.
- A processing fee will be charged by Stripe.
- For domestic cards, a fixed fee of 30¢ plus 1.75% of AU$15 will be charged.
- For international cards, a fixed fee of 30¢ plus 2.9% of AU$15 will be charged.
